Hello, my name is Joseph Jones, I go by Joe. I started going to cons with my family over the past couple of years and enjoy it , kids being involved in cosplay, soo I started. Being born in 1978 soo yup growing up a Star Wars fan was pretty easy to do . I meet Anthony Wilson and other members of Corellia while attending Charcon, and after talking with them over the past 3 days of the event, learning about the events and charities, I'm excited to start this journey and be a part of this organization and give back to the communities as well . For my 1st costume build , I'm going to make a clone scout trooper from the battle of Kashyyyk , I really like the costume design and options , I look forward to meeting and making some new friends and working the community, thank you

Hey Joe, welcome to the forum! Our garrison, like many others, has a costume advisor program to aid new cadets in sourcing information and helping with the build process. I've assigned you to a costume advisor, Matt Schraeder, to help you with answering questions, etc. with the build process.

I have created a build thread for you here to continue costume specific conversations and help you and the advisor team track your progress and answer questions: viewtopic.php?t=1329

Again, welcome!

Welcome, Joe.

In my biased opinion, scouts are the best option for a costume. It is recognizable, you have great vision for wearing a helmet, and you have tremendous mobility for wearing armor. You also get some air flow in the helmet, so it's not stifling.

See Joe I told you they are a good group of people, and super helpful! It was a pleasure meeting you and talking the last couple of days. I also can't thank you enough for staying after the convention and helping with the HIC teardown. Looking forward to watching your build thread and getting to know yourself and family.

Welcome Joe. I'm still new myself. There are a couple of us down here in Lewisburg area so not too far from you at all. Hopefully we can troop together soon.
