My name is Eric Akers, I live in Marion county just outside of Fairmont. Joining the 501st is something I've wanted to do now for years but I never really knew how to get started or who I needed to talk to about getting started until today. I love helping charities and people in my community I've volunteered as a firefighter now for 15 years and have played in full time softball leagues to raise money for many summers for WVU hospitals and other organizations. I've always been a fan of the biker scout and that would be my preferred choice but I've never done anything like this before so if it would be better to start off with something more simpler I'm game for that also, any info or advise would be very helpful. I look forward to meeting and talking with other members to get started on my journey in joining the 501st. Thank you

Welcome. Ask any question you may have about being a scout. Wendy and I are both Scouts and both advisors. We have helped Russ and Ryan do their scout and getting Derek almost finished up. If you look me up on fb I can add you to our Scout group on fb page the 111th Cimaera Patrol
