Hello, I'm Allison. I started my build thread and have finally found some time to sit down and make a Introduction thread. I live in Belpre with my husband, Derek, and he's the reason I'm joining the 501st. I bought his Scout armor kit as an early Christmas present and watching him was really intriguing so after watching him work on it we talked about me joining and eventually doing a TB kit like him. We're currently working on a Juno Eclipse costume as a first 501st costume before eventually doing a TB.
My hobbies focus on aquarium keeping and child wrangling. I have something like 30 water lizards (axolotls) being raised right now, we have 20 or 30 baby cichlids, and some baby plecos. Sewing isn't my strong suit, but aquariums are (which doesn't help when you like to think of all the cool costumes you could make if you could sew). Derek and I are under constant threat of a 2.5 year old, but she loves Star Wars and all Scouts are her friends so that's something we're excited about. She wants to be an Ewok, a Jedi, Darth Maul...everything. Abram is already in the Galactic Academy and JoZee wants to do it as well. Thank you all for being so inviting! We look forward to trooping in our 501st costumes once they're done.
